Publishing is a particularly exciting sector for Internet development for the simple reason that it is one of only a few areas where the raw components of a product (content) can be gathered, transported and stored electronically, with the product itself being delivered via the Internet.
Many publishing businesses are undergoing a transition to more flexible business processses; content management, content re-purposing, sales automation, online marketing and electronic delivery.
